Actress Kristen Stewart confessed that music was really important when she was shooting “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” as it is important in her life in general (watch video above). When asked to choose between Lady GaGa and Miley Cyrus, Kristen said Miley’s “The Climb” (watch “The Climb” video here) is her theme song. Ah! Hilarious!

The super sweet 17 year-old Aaron Kelly, who has an interesting and beautiful life story, made it to the top 5 of the ninth season of American Idol. Aaron was adopted and raised by his aunt who he calls mother and defines himself as a country singer. He is a fan of Miley Cyrus and is ready to work on his debut album.

You had a chance to meet your idols, Rascal Flatts. How did you keep from being star struck?
Aaron: Yes, that was incredible! In the beginning I was star struck by everybody I met. And then you get to where you learn that they are just people and they like to be treated as people more than they like to be treated as stars, and so I felt the more I went through, that’s how it became. When I met Rascal Flatts, I was still pretty excited! But I tried to keep my cool and everything. I got to take a picture with them all and getting to talk to them, they are really nice guys.

What did you learn most from the celebrity mentors on the show?
Aaron: The mentors have taught you to put yourself into your song, don’t just sing the song; believe the song, because if you believe it, than the audience is going to believe it.

Singer Miley Cyrus’ power ballad, “The Climb”, written by Jessi Alexander and Jon Mabe, won the trophy for Song Of The Year of 2009 at the 7th Annual Musicnotes Awards. This award is given by Musicnotes, Inc. to the best-selling sheet music song of the year.

The song is beautiful, the lyrics are remarkable – this is probably one of the best songs ever written. I love ‘The Climb’! And Miley sings it like no one else could because I’m sure she feels those lyrics like they were her own. Congrats!

Nick Jonas, who is currently on tour with The Administration, added a song by Miley Cyrus, “The Climb” (watch video below), to his list after surprising the crowd with his own rendition of Taylor Swift’s “You Belong With Me” just a couple days ago (watch video here).

Nick did a medley – he sings Taylor’s song followed by Miley’s. Is it possible that he is trying to send Miley some type of hidden message? A truce? Nick and Miley are just good old friends now. Miley is currently dating Aussie hottie Liam Hemsworth.

Miley Cyrus gave a great interview to Austrailian show Take40. ‘The Climb’ singer spoke about the song and how it has helped fans to see her in a more grown-up way, and she gave some details about her relationship with Liam Hemsworth, her co-star in her upcoming movie, The Last Song.

I thought it was a great interview from her and gave us a glimpse into a (perhaps?) unhappiness with regards to ‘Party In The USA’ and the ‘politics’ behind doing that particular song or songs like it. Cyrus told MTV that it “is not even my style of music,” and she has made statements about moving in a new direction musically. She has completed a cover of 80′s rock ballad ‘Every Rose Has It’s Thorn’ with Poison frontman Bret Michaels giving her version a thumbs up saying she “nailed the song.”

She’s certainly entitled to want to change her image, style or anything else and is facing what challenges many teen stars – growing up in the public eye. I’m looking forward to what she wants to do next.

American Idol Kelly Clarkson and her backup singers did a great job covering Miley Cyrus’ ”The Climb”. This is probably my favorite Miley song and Kelly did it justice. Can we expect a Miley & Kelly duet anytime soon??

Some fans were waiting in the rain and cold for 36 hours to see Miley Cyrus perform on “The Today Show” in New York on Friday morning (August 28). Miley confessed she would never wait for so much time to see someone so she is thankful for her crazy dedicated fans.

Miley performed four of the songs, “Party In The U.S. A.”, “See You Again”, “The Climb” and “Kicking and Screaming” (watch videos below) of her new album “Time Of Our Lives,” which comes out on Tuesday (August 31) exclusively in Wal-Mart.
